7.Double Network Cables Switch Automatically

>>The A and B ports of the receiving card can be both used as input ports or output ports.
>>Users can adapt two computers to control a LED display at the same time, when one is out of order, the other will replace it automatically.
>>Users can also use one computer with double network cables to control a LED Screen, when one is out of order, the other will take place of it automatically, making the LED Display Screen work normally all time.

Quality control during LED Screen Installation

When you buy a LED Display Screen back, you need to pay attention to this point when installing, it is very important for LED Display Screen working. now let us start it.

1. Requirement to steel structure and trim decoration for LED Screen

(1) The installation base should be level up horizontally.
(2) The installation vertical bars must be vertically level up.
(3) The clearance between installation vertical bars must be equal to the size of boxes, and the tolerance is 2~3mm.
(4) The welding joint of steel frame must be checked through carefully, no dry joint.
(5) The clad of LED Display screen should be clean, flat and waterproofing.

2. Power Supply
(1) Power Cable: Lay 3×150 mm2 (3 phase lines)+120 mm2 (null line)+70 mm2 (earthing line) from locale power distribution cabinet to the right side of each LED display. 5 meters redundancy for provision.
(2) Signal wire: Lay 3 shielded standard network cables from control PC to each LED Screen. 5 meters redundancy for provision.
(3) Power cable and signal wire must be protected by zincified steel tube separately.
(4) LED display power supply has certain requirements on earthing, for example, the impedance of outdoor LED Screen must be below 10Ω and with lightning protection to avoid destroyed

3. Connection of signal wires and power supply for LED Display Screen

(1) Make sure switches, power connector terminals are fasten.
(2) Redundant power supply wires can not be twisted together because of safety.

4. Signal lines connection notice

(1) Normally signal wires should not be shared a pipe with power wires because the strong current of power wires will disturb the signals.
(2) The 5-type network cable should not be knotted to avoid disturbing each other and breaking.
(3) Sort up all wires and fix them after connecting all wires.

viewing distance for LED Display Screen

What are the minimum and maximum of a LED Giant Screen?

 

The minimum and maximum viewing distances of a LED Display screen are measured depending on two fundamental characteristics of the screen:

 

the pixel pitch and the screen’s dimension.

#1 – the minimum distance is calculated converting into meters the pixel pitch. For example, a LED maxi screen with 10mm pitch has a minimum viewing distance of 10 meters, while a 20mm pitch screen has a minimum viewing distance of 20 meters.

 

#2 – the maximum distance instead, depends on the screen’s dimension and it can be calculated multiplying x10 and converting into meters the number of maxi-screen’s square meters. For example a 4×3 meters (=12sq) can be viewed from 120 meters distance.

 

Viewing distance is one of the most important factors needed to determine the correct size of most indoor led screen and outdoor led screen.

As a general rule: 1 inch of text is viewable up to 50 feet away1or 25mm of text is viewable up to 15m away. The following diagram illustrates at what distance and character size that a stationary audience will recognize and understand the content of an electronic sign.
