Chapter one: Dual power supply backup
Dual power supply backup, as the name implies, uses two single power supplies to achieve the advantage of power supply backup. When the system is in use, the two power supplies are activated at the same time to share the output power consumption equally.
For each single power supply, the power supply can be reduced and the use of When one of the power sources fails, the load required by the LED module will be switched to the other power source to operate, just like the current common single power source operation mode to continue normal operation, to complete dual power supply backup.
Chapter two: Dual signal backup
1.What is dual signal backup?
Dual signal backup, that is, there are two IC systems on the main board, which is equivalent to using two receiving cards, which provides redundant space through the integration of the system. When the signal action fails, it will automatically switch to another signal backup to complete the dual signal backup to ensure that the signal will not be lost.
Dual power supply and dual signal backup mechanism, through the circuit design on the motherboard, feedback information can be used to complete the switching of actions. The signal is transmitted electronically,so the switching time is quite fast. When the power supply or the signal is switched, it is an electronic transmission signal that responds through nanosecond time. The fast switching speed cannot be observed by the naked eye.
2.Two types of Signal backup: Signal backup inside the cabinet & Cabinet loop backup.
1)Signal backup inside the cabinet
Sending a signal to the LED display as an output device is to transmit the signal of the video source to the light board on the display, and send the signal to the receiving card on each cabinet through the sending card, so that the signal can be sent to the receiving card. Send it to the light board to make a light effect.
A normal LED display transmits the screen to be played through the main signal. When the main signal fails, another signal will be used to continue to transmit the signal to complete the normal playback of the screen signal; when the signal of one of the modules fails, then Use another signal to continue to complete the transmission of the screen. When the operation of a display module in the middle fails, the signal is automatically switched to the other channel, and the transmission of the signal can still be completed continuously.
The signal backup in the cabinet is to install two receiving cards in the cabinet to form a signal channel. The communication loop formed by interleaving will ensure that the signal is not lost, and ensure that the video source can be safely transmitted to the display screen.
2)Cabinet loop backup
In addition to the signal double backup system that can be used in the cabinet, loop backup can also be used for the connection between the entire screen and the system sending card. When the video source corresponds to the number of LED screens on the receiving card of the cabinet from the sending card interface, generally Only one sending card is used for the corresponding sending signal. At this time, another sending card can be connected to the interface at the end, which can avoid the situation that the sending card in one direction fails to act.
When the sending card that transmits the signal fails, the sending card at the other end can also transmit the signal to the LED Display, that is, when the sending card at the front end fails, the system card at the end can still provide signal transmission, forming a closed-loop backup function, provide the backup effect of the whole LED display, and form a well-designed and solid complete signal backup.
Chapter three: In the case of dual backup, how to judge the problem of accessories?
In fact, when using the display screen, when the power supply or signal inside the display screen is switched to the backup use state, it is impossible to check only from the appearance. Whether the status of the dual backup power supply and signal system to the display screen is working normally, or whether there is already a power supply or the signal has been switched to the backup status, at this time, it can be judged whether it needs to be replaced, and preventive work can be made to avoid accidents.
On the system, the status of the power supply or signal on each cabinet can be clearly displayed. In the normal state, it will display a green light, and when it is in an abnormal state, it will display a red light. Therefore, once the red light appears When the power supply or system board is replaced, it can prevent the replacement of the failed power supply or system board in advance, so as to avoid the sudden situation of emergency abnormality of the LED Display.
